questions

Frequently asked questions.

Everything people ask before they move their contracts over.

  • You CC dottr@dottr.io on the thread, or forward the email. That's the whole setup, no new tool for you, no login for the other side. Dottr replies in the same thread with the review, then handles the signature from there.

  • By the contract. One contract costs a dollar, and that's the only thing you ever pay for, there is no subscription, no monthly minimum and no per-seat fee. You buy contracts in packs up front and spend them as deals come in.

  • No. Your first 5 contracts are free, and they are whole contracts rather than a preview: drafted, reviewed, sent for signature and downloaded, the same as any other. You only buy a pack once you have used them.

  • One document. An MSA, an SOW, an NDA, an offer letter, a retainer, if it's a PDF or a Word doc in your inbox, Dottr will read it, and it counts once. Redraft it four times, send three rounds of redlines, chase two signers and download the signed copy: that is still one contract and still one dollar.

  • The whole end-to-end job: drafting, review, coordinating between the parties, signature and download. They are not priced separately. They are all things you do to the same contract, and the contract is the unit. Renewal reminders, version comparison, custom workflows, follow-up cadence and collaboration come with the workspace at no extra cost.

  • No. However many people have to sign, and however many reminders it takes to get them there, the signing is part of that contract's dollar.

  • Yes. The review is one of the things the dollar pays for, so a contract Dottr reads counts whether or not the deal closes. In practice that is the cheap half of the problem, the expensive one is the week you spend finding out.

  • As many as you like. Seats are never billed on any workspace, so adding your whole team, your finance lead and your lawyer costs nothing. You only ever pay for contracts.

  • No. A pack is not a monthly allowance, buy ten and use them across a quarter if that is how the deals land. There is no subscription to cancel and nothing lapses at the end of a month.

  • Buy another pack; they stack onto what you already have and the contract you're in the middle of carries on. Nothing is interrupted and no deal gets held up waiting on a purchase.

  • Tell us the number. Past the published packs we quote it directly, email support@dottr.ai with roughly how many contracts a month you expect and we'll come back with a price.

  • Neither. Dottr works inside the email thread you are already in, so the counterparty just reads and signs. They never see a login screen and they are never charged.

  • Yes, there's a free review at the bottom of this page. Send one contract, read what Dottr sends back, and decide from there.

  • No. Your documents are used to answer your questions and nothing else. They are never used to train models and never shared with other customers.

  • Yes. Dottr prepares and sends documents for e-signature with a full audit trail of who opened, viewed and signed, and it keeps chasing every signer until the last one is done.

  • Yes, email support@dottr.ai and a person will come back to you. Same address if you need SSO, multiple entities under one roof, in-house lawyer support alongside the AI, or a security review before you buy.
